Oncology Massage
I was trained in 2017 in Oncology Massage through Healwell. Through this intensive class, I learned how to work with those currently going through cancer treatment as well as aftercare for those living in recovery.
Oncology massage is like other forms of massage, with special attention to pressure and working with the individual needs of each client. A thorough intake form is filled out on the first visit so I am aware of your medical history and can customize the session to your specific needs.
As a provider for the non-profit group Unite For Her, I am given the special opportunity to work with those diagnosed with breast cancer. Unite For Her provides complementary therapies along with traditional treatments to help physical and emotional health.
